But here's the thing, Doggy. You throw in Alim's face the fact that the
telephone and Social Security number help to "track" people. But it wasn't
sold like that at first. When the SS numbers were started, there were
similar concerns just like now about the biometric ID card. We were assured
that it was just going to be 1% set aside for retirement, and that it would
never be used as a means of identification. Well, in hindsight, it looks
like the government lied to us. In the words of Gomer Pile, surprise
surprise surprise. Do you really believe that they only want these new
biometric ID cards to somehow thwart illegal aliens from saturating the
workplace? If so, then why haven't they done anything to address that issue
before? Can you not imagine where our every move someday will depend on
swiping our little card that has our iris pattern embedded in it? Look to
communist China right now, how do they use the cards already in that
totalitarian society. Is that what you want for this country? Maybe John
Savage is right, maybe we cannot fight it, but should we just roll over and
give into it?
